My History
Ever since I was a boy, I was a carpenter. I just didn’t know what to call it.
I build.
I love my work. I see it’s purpose in my community, and it is so much more than a means for providing for my family. Although my family is my primary treasure on this earth, we know in this home that we serve a purpose and calling greater than ourselves:

Apprenticed under James Toso (master carpenter, owner of TNT Contracting) in Campbell River. Learning under multiple construction companies and freelance building for decades, I’ve been gifted with a broad spectrum knowledge of building and design. I’ve had the providence of excelling in the residential field, commercial field, and civil field.
From any of the custom oak furniture I built in Campbell River City Hall, to the Portman and Golden Ears Bridges over the Vancouver Fraser River, I humbly treasure the legacies in the trade I have enjoyed and embrace my experience and learned knowledge with confidence.

We utilized Mike’s Company on an upgrade of our on-suite bathroom. This involved removal of existing bath tub and replacing with a new walk-in shower with modern fixtures and rain shower head. Job included new drywall work and painting. We were very pleased with all the work completed my Mike. He responded to our request for a quotation quickly also started the job on time and finished within the time frame quoted. The job site was cleaned up at the end of each day and all construction debris was removed. This was a very professional job done completely to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with our new on-suite shower and would not hesitate to recommend Blanchard Construction & Designs to others.
